Artist and curator Gabriela Golder (Argentina, 1971) will talk and present some videos from The “Bienal de la Imagen en Movimiento – BIM”. This Biennal is dedicated to experimental cinema and video. The audiovisual works displayed in museums and screened in programmes at theatres and cinemas are accompanied by a diversity of activities (workshops, lectures, seminars, meetings with artists, roundtable debates), creating a truly enriching atmosphere for the spectator. The BIM is an event that brings together creators, researchers, students, cultural producers and an audience that loves audiovisual arts in all their most diverse manifestations, coming to Buenos Aires from all over the world to enjoy the show, debate with others and be part of a unique experience.
Gabriela Golder was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1971. She is an artist, independent curator and a professor of Video and New Technologies. She is the co-director of the Bienal of Imagen in Movimiento ( BIM) and CONTINENTE, Research center in Electronic Arts, of the Universidad Nacional Tres de Febrero, in Argentina. Since 2013, she is invited curator of the program of video and experimental cinema of the Museum of Modern Art of Buenos Aires.
